How to Design a Strong Google Slides Presentation


  • 10-15 slides including mla citation page
  • At least 30 point font should not distract from content (No embellishments)
  • Uniform font
  • Cite all media and resources (use johnjohnson)
  • Let media tell the story
  • Show don't tell
  • Photos,graphs, etc
  • Avoid clipart and watermarked 
  • Info in brain not on slides
  • People will read not listen to yourself
  • No complete sentences
  • Words and phrases only
  • Uniform bullet points
  • Use good grammar and spelling
  • Give credit where credit is due

App Design

We recently had a staffing agency come to us to see if a small group of students would be up to the task of coding an app to help potential worker apply. We sat down in a circle and talked through the details of what it would entail. One major thing we talked about was adding google tools like calendar and docs to help with scheduling and developing a resume.
The company has a existing app they would like to model the new ap after called BlueCrew.
